The SEC failed to protect investors from FTX, Luna, UST, Celsius.

And now is going after perfectly safe exchanges and stable coins further harming investors.

What is the purpose of the SEC again?

Investors failed to protect themselves. If you got burnt in a circle jerk stable coin that’s on you. You thought SBF would keep your money safe without any guardrails - again that’s on you.

How do you know which exchanges and stablecoins are safe? 'Perfectly safe' but no regulations or transparency. Sure.

The sec exists to ensure you never have financial freedom and that you are perpetually and parasiticaly dependent on whatever crumbs the gubmint gives you. That's what the sec is there for.

The purpose of the SEC is to protect this interests of the US government, US corporations and oligarchy, not those of the ordinary US citizens.

I, like 95% of the worlds population do not live under the SECs jurisdiction. Can anyone explain why I should care what they do? Why would anyone use a US based exchange now? Shouldn't US citizens move assets to offshore entities for staking and carry on regardless?
