Jordan
Ralf Rangnick really told us we needed 10 new players to even compete and we all agreed with him 💀😂

I mean yiu can't blame us for what we saw last season. In fairness we have definitely overperformed under erik and still need like 3 or 4 starting XI signings then a few depth ones.

Some players are giving us a double benefit. Martinez has been great in his own right but also, having him there means that we can leave out Captain calamity Maguire. Same goes for Casemiro. He's bossing midfield, benching McTominay AND making Fred look good. Triple threat!

Funny that then, so glazers aren't at fault then if you've had a team capable of competing all along?

So he was spot on? 8 first teamers + garnacho coming into the first team is almost exactly what he said

True, we finished 3rd & 2nd in the last two season, we had good players whatever narrative media did,It is not that easy to finish 3rd & 2nd, we all know CR7 signing made it worse last season,we just lost one game after he left + we got the best CDM in the world.

As soon as he said that I lost my respect to him. He disrespects the team and also Ole who built and guided that team to 3rd and 2nd, while losing semifinals to City & Chelsea.

He was pretty close so I’m not sure what you are trying to prove with this statement. Plus if we had listened to his suggestions for signings we would have saved millions. Julio Alvarez, Enzo f etc.

Tbf he was right. Martinez, Malacia, Casemiro, Eriksen, Antony + we still need a new GK, RB, CB, DM, CM & ST too

Ppl keep repeating this argument on twitter as if Ralf said specifically 10. He said 6, 7, 8, maybe 10. Not exactly 10. Not ‘to even compete’.

We’ve signed 7, brought Garnacho and Pellistri in, have Mainoo coming through and we all know we still need 3 or 4 in the summer.

He made it sound like this team is scrap and he doesn't care anymore. It's not possible to get 6 new players in 1 window and when he said that the window is still weeks apart, and he didn't produce the result meanwhile. Do we need 6 players to beat Burnley, Palace, Brighton, etc?

Antony, Casemiro, Licha, Eriksen, Sabitzer, Wout, Malacia - 7

Need new GK, Striker, CM and any replacements for people leaving

Rangnick was not wrong, he just wasn’t the right man to have in the dugout

if you count garnacho and pellistri they re basically new signings, so thats basically 9 new players in the squad

We have signed 7 first team players + Garnacho has come into the squad since he said that, and we still clearly need at least 2/3 more to be competitive for the league. So he was basically spot on with 10 tbh
